The role involves supporting overhead crews and performing site work on various projects. You will load and prep tools, assist the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor, and travel as required.

Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is seeking great Aerial (O/H) Groundman/Laborers for Telecom projects with our Broadband Communications division in theDayton. Ohiooffice. An Aerial (O/H) Groundman/Laborer atTeam Fishelwill handle projects of various complexities and perform site work.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a overhead telecom crew
• Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
• Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be able to travel
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions
• Valid Driver's license required with clean driving record for the last 3 yearsBasic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools etc.
• Must be committed to working safely
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
