Job summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is coming to the Akron/Cleveland area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman !

As an Aerial Telecom Lineman you will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It is also a great opportunity to be part of the initial team that will establish Team Fishel as the leader in utility construction industry in Northeast Ohio as it grows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in aerial/overhead telecom lineman.
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area.
• Basic climbing tools (belt and gaffs) and basic hand tools.
• CDL-A is strongly desired.
• Bilingual is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Planning and initiating projects.
• Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements.
• Setting poles.
• Maintaining and repairing overhead fiber optic facilities.
• Installing new strand and lashing fiber.
• Installing and maintaining down guys, overhead guys.
• Building risers, installing snow shoes/slack coils.
• Tree trimming.

• Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
