Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Extensive knowledge of transportation industry principles
• 4 years of experience managing linehauls/drivers
• Knowledge of DOT/state/local regulatory requirements
• Experience in the LTL industry preferred
• High School diploma required
• DOT compliance certification

Responsibilities

• Manage linehaul drivers and coordinate with leadership to run an efficient operation.
• Staffing for linehaul drivers and ensure timely execution and equipment availability.
• Hire, train, and develop drivers; schedule coverage for routes.
• Conduct driver evaluations and manage time-off/backups.
• Lead meetings; address personnel issues and enforce safety and discipline.
• Ensure on-time dispatch and service center performance; maintain driver morale.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/state/local regulations and safety policies.
• Perform DVIR audits and driver ride-alongs for coaching and safety.
