Job summary

Southeast Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to operate tractor-trailers for local pickups and deliveries. You will ensure safe vehicle operations and accurate documentation while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements include a CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailers endorsements, at least 6 months of driving experience (1 year preferred), and the ability to work a third shift. Salary ranges from market rates depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience; 1 year preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers; no automatic restrictions.
• At least 21 years old; able to read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and hazmat transport.
• Must pass alcohol and drug tests and meet physical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport and deliver freight locally.
• Drive tractor-trailer in varying conditions and perform coupling/uncoupling.
• Inspect vehicle and manage loading/unloading of cargo.
• Ensure accuracy of transport documents and comply with safety policies.
• Report incidents or delays and maintain professional customer service.
