Job summary

Responsibilities

• Dispatches transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan.
• Ensures Linehaul dispatch and arrival rules are followed per procedures.
• Dispatches cargo to maximize trailer volume while meeting delivery obligations.
• Enters dispatch events into the TMS to ensure on-time delivery and pickup.
• Verifies equipment location via yard inventories in the dispatch system.
• Checks load/unload status of trailers and reports missing equipment promptly.
• Communicates safety initiatives to promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Investigates delays and equipment failures and implements contingency plans.
• Reviews DOT roadside violations and reports to management.
• Compiles data and generates reports for management review.
• Supports BCAS audit activities by retrieving data/files as needed.
• Reviews TLCRs to ensure proper completion.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
