BIBI'S BAKERY AND CAFE in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Line/prep Cook to join our busy restaurant. You will prepare meals with high-quality ingredients to delight our customers, focusing on Middle Eastern cafe cuisine and Israeli street food.

The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering an excellent dining experience. Kosher restaurant experience is a plus but not required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Line/prep Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. It is a middle eastern style cafe and bakery with a focus in Israeli street food.

• Clean up and tidying
• Packing food for pre-packed purchases

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kosher restaurant is a plus, but not essential
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
