Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno, CA is seeking a cut-up line worker to identify and sort chicken products on the packaging lines and place them into appropriate packaging that meets quality specifications.

The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, standing 8–10 hours, and rotation through all cut-up line positions; overtime pay applies for evening and late-night shifts. Training provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Lifting up to 35 lbs and repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions.
• Rotation into all positions on the cut-up line is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sort qualities/grades of product from packaging lines and place into appropriate packaging meeting quality specs.
• Upgrade product that does not meet quality standards through salvaging techniques and place into suitable product codes.
