Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is hiring for a warehouse/production role responsible for setting up and maintaining line equipment, monitoring the process and assisting line personnel to ensure GMP, safety and product quality. You will verify schedules, prepare materials, wear PPE and support efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or production experience, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and / or production environment.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience is required.
• 6 Months - 1 Year work experience preferred; 1 year or less acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily schedule and production paperwork; verify ingredients, supplies and packaging for operations.
• Put on all required PPE and safety gear.
• Set-up / assemble line equipment per work order and start up the line; perform metal detector checks.
• Monitor the process; complete quality checks; check packaging and finished cases.
• Troubleshoot problems; make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Facilitate production; maintain scale area; assist line personnel with materials and line supply.
• End of shift: secure equipment, perform housekeeping and complete all paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
