Job summary

Parallel Employment is seeking a packaging operator to join our food manufacturing team in New Berlin, WI. You will set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment including fillers, sealers, and detectors, ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include performing quality checks, documenting in real time, and addressing any faults or slowdowns quickly. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in food manufacturing, and be able

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing with GMPs and sanitation.
• Ability to perform basic shop math.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in environments with allergens, dust, and wet conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment and related machinery.
• Make equipment adjustments to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform quality checks on bags, seals, coding, and weight.
• Complete MMRs, production and quality records in real time.
• Monitor flow to identify faults and slowdowns and address them promptly.
• Report production concerns to supervisor for resolution.
• Follow GMPs, food-safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support team operations through overtime or weekend work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
