Job summary
ABB is seeking a skilled engineer to drive engineering change implementation and ensure accurate product and manufacturing data.
You will work onsite with cross-functional teams, loading data into the ERP system (Material Masters, BOMs, Routings, Costing) and supporting production to meet demand. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 2 years of related experience, with proficiency in SAP, Windchill, and Excel, and US work authorization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar required.
- 2 years of manufacturing/engineering experience.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with SAP, Windchill, and Excel.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and implementing engineering changes across products and coordinating deliverables between cross functional teams.
- Ensuring the manufacturing line has the support required to meet market demand by monitoring output, line balancing, and work instructions.
- Loading, correcting, and monitoring data related to products in ERP (Material Masters, BOMs, Routings, Costing).
- Establishing contacts with suppliers for technical support to improve material quality or decrease costs.
