Job summary

Abbott is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support quality checks and engineering change management in the SH division at our New Brighton, MN site. You will handle document and part changes, track approvals, and ensure compliance across PLM and ERP systems.

In this onsite role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage change tasks, and maintain accurate records while upholding Abbott’s standards for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or Equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Document/Engineering Change Control role, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Able to enter data in PLM and ERP system provided by Change Orders.
• Intermediate knowledge of systems (PLM, ERP).
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to contribute to a department or cross-functional problem-solving team.
• Ability to work in a geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with Change Managers, Documentation Services staff, and other functional areas.
• Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks, change manager activities and implement change orders in the designated PLM and ERP system.
• Communicate issues identified to team members and other functional areas and provide feedback on compliance.
• Manage Change Master, Material Master/Material Extension, BOM, Routers, and Inspection Plan.
• Complete quality checks in PLM with basic document structuring and approvals.
• Implement tasks based on the scope of change to affected documents and parts.
• Accept Track Changes and delete comments.
• Use basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Update fields in PLM and ERP systems.
• Complete ERP Product Configuration updates.
• Create document and part objects in PLM and ERP systems.
