Job summary

Tandem Foods is seeking a Production Processing Lead to manage all functions of the Production Process on the assigned line. You will direct processing staff, coordinate breaks, ensure adherence to formulas and specs, and uphold safety, GMP, and food safety standards across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, focus on quality, and collaboration with maintenance and other departments to optimize line performance and downtime management.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the team in the processing area.
• Monitors and coordinates breaks, provides relief as needed.
• Manages production activities to ensure adherence to formulas and specs for quality output.
• Reviews labor schedules and ensures trained staff have the right tools.
• Enforces safety, GMPs, and food safety rules with involvement from all levels.
• Ensures written documentation is properly filed and accessible.
• Coordinates with other leads and shifts for smooth changeovers and communication.
• Monitors line/equipment condition and assists maintenance as needed.
• Drives continuous improvement by solving problems and leveraging plant resources.
