What You’ll Do

• Prepare foods using standardized recipes and procedures
• Cook and prepare vegetables, starches, baked goods, sauces, and more
• Ensure food quality through proper tasting and presentation
• Portion meals accurately based on dietary needs and preferences
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and equipment care

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow recipes and perform basic math
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• At least two years of prep, line cook, fine dining, or banquet experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift
• Comfortable working in varying kitchen temperatures
• Able to move throughout the facility and kitchen areas

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 - $21.45 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
