Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook for our Lincoln Court community in Idaho Falls. You will set up workstations, prepare ingredients, and assist chefs in creating meals for our residents in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to read recipes, safe food-handling practices, and flexible shifts including weekends. We offer competitive pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO and on-site meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a prep cook preferred.
• Safe food handling techniques are required.

Job Description

Out prep cooks are responsible for setting up workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for the cooking process. The prep cook is required to perform basic cooking duties as well as monitor stock levels. To be a successful prep cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.
