Job summary

Boxcar Coffee Roasters in Boulder, CO is hiring for a Part-Time Line & Prep Cook. Qualifications

• Back of house experience or interest in BOH kitchen work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items according to recipes (spreads, marinades, jams) and use a variety of equipment.
• Complete trainings to ensure competency and safety with knives and slicers.
• Multitask between prep and fulfilling orders via a ticketing system.
• Assemble meals to order following plating examples and measurements.
• Batch produce ready-to-eat foods (sandwiches, salads).
• Weigh portions using slicer and scales for accuracy.
• Follow food safety guidelines for storage and handling of food.
• Cross-train on register to support FOH during busy times.
• Maintain professional demeanor with guests and teammates.
