Oak & Stone Eastport is seeking a dedicated Cook to serve as both a Line Cook and a Prep Cook. You will prepare and direct preparation of food, ensuring sanitation, safety, and adherence to company recipes and presentation guidelines.

The role involves setting up the kitchen, prepping and portioning food, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service. This position requires reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality food items for guests using various cooking methods.
• Following recipe and presentation guidelines to meet guests' expectations.
• Coordinating food orders to support timely delivery to each table.
• Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
• Meeting special guest requests while maintaining quality.
• Set up the kitchen before opening.
• Prep food and portion food.
• Stock the alley and line with items needed to complete orders on time.
• Clean dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• Break down and clean the kitchen, mats, and equipment at closing.
• Sweep, spray and mop floors.
• Maintain sparkling clean restrooms, kitchen, and parking lot.
• Make orders and check-in deliveries.
• Label and date food for freshness rotation.
• Put away deliveries.
• Report to work on time in a neat and clean uniform.
