Line/Prep CookOverview:

The Line/Prep Cook are responsible for their assigned station's workflow, preparing ingredients, cooking food according to recipes, and maintaining a clean work area.Line cooks work under the direction of the chef and sous chef, and may be cross-trained on multiple stations or specialize in areas like grilling, frying, or salads.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Ensuring the kitchen and prep areas are set up and stocked.

• Prepare meals in a timely and professional manner.

• Compiling and assessing inventory, report discrepancies to management.

• Maintaining and following all health and safety guidelines.

• Time management skills.

• Problem solving skills.
