Job summary

StartupNWA in Arkansas is seeking a production worker on the poultry line to learn, perform and rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader to maintain line speeds for each product.

You will join a team, contribute to continuous improvement, and follow Simmons operating systems principles including LEAN and safety policies. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in cold, wet, noisy environments is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and decision-making abilities are required.
• Preference for candidates with poultry or food processing experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in cold, wet, noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands; spreads or styles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team and supports Lean/systems practices and safety policies.
