Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to join the T1 Manufacturing Operations Shift team. You will analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues to maintain speed, safety, and quality.

You will lead cross-functional efforts and multitask effectively during the B shift (Sun–Tue, 6:45pm–7:15am) with alternating Saturdays. The role emphasizes safety, cleanroom practices, and proactive collaboration with other departments to improve manufacturing

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills and typing >30 WPM.
• Self-motivated with strong critical thinking.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Able to follow and create documented procedures.
• Able to wear a cleanroom smock for a full shift and lift up to 25 lb.

Responsibilities

• Routinely conducts intermediate data analysis of manufacturing metrics (WPD, tool output, rundown, etc.).
• Pinpoint bottleneck areas and take actions to help improve line movement and line balance.
• Conduct intermediate troubleshooting and root cause investigation of production roadblocks up to the 1st and 2nd order of a catalyst event.
• Work as a team leader both within and outside of the department.
• Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy.
