Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is hiring a Manufacturing Line Operator for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Mon–Fri) in Salt Lake City, UT. Occasional Saturdays may be required. Performance/pay review after 90 days with next-day pay options and urgent hire status.

The Line Operator will manage process baths, coordinate with team leads, monitor tanks, and help ensure product quality while maintaining safety and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome — no prior manufacturing experience required.
• Prior experience with chemical processing or plating may yield higher wages.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process baths and materials to produce high-quality finished parts.
• Coordinate with Team Lead and Shift Supervisor to maximize tank efficiency and meet production schedules.
• Monitor pH and solution levels; document temperatures, voltages, and loads.
• Identify and escalate issues affecting product quality and report to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas and participate in tank maintenance.
