Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a Line Op Trainee to coordinate line activities, maximize tank efficiency, and ensure high-quality outputs. You will work with production staff to follow process recipes, document updates, and maintain safety standards.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; experience in chemical processing or plating improves wage; strong English communication and reliability are required. Safety gear is provided, with clear opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome — no prior manufacturing experience required
• Prior experience with chemical processing or plating yields higher wages
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all loads with shift supervisor to maximize tank efficiency.
• Ensure loads are processed to their specific process recipes; inspect loads and investigate deviations.
• Have general understanding of process line equipment (rectifiers, pumps, chillers, computers, cranes).
• Document information using the dry erase board and observe updated procedures.
• Communicate effectively to other shift operators about load progress and required actions to maintain shift consistency.
• Question other operators' methods when necessary; share knowledge with team.
• Process special loads with QA, supervisor and other line operators; seek guidance when needed.
• Report equipment problems to shift supervisor for maintenance requisition.
• Lead tank maintenance teams on a rotating schedule.
