Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a Manufacturing Line Operator for 1st shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) in Indiana. The role involves coordinating process baths, ensuring quality, and supporting production with prior experience in chemical processing preferred for higher wages.

Responsibilities include monitoring tanks, record-keeping, and safe shift handoffs. We offer quarterly bonus incentives, same-day pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome - no prior manufacturing experience required.
• Prior experience working with chemical processing or plating experience (higher wage offered with this experience).
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates proper process baths and materials to produce high-quality product.
• Oversees process line activity to maximize tank efficiency and meet production schedules.
• Trains material handlers and new line operators.
• Responds to alarms and follows safety protocols.
• Monitors pH and solution levels in tanks and records data on run sheets.
• Keeps work areas clean, safe, and orderly and reports equipment problems promptly.
