Job summary

Beauty Quest Group, located in Illinois, is seeking a production line packer to package high-quality hair care products safely and efficiently, in accordance with company standards and GMPs.

Responsibilities include component verification, bottle placement, visual inspection, packing, labeling checks, box handling, and line cleanliness. The role involves rotating tasks with teammates and following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in a fashion that assures personal safety and the safety of others.
• Confirm that all components on the production line (pumps, stems, caps, and lids) are accurate and appropriate for the product being manufactured, and ensure they are properly assembled.
• Place bottles on the line and inspect for defects like printing issues, holes, and labeling.
• Inspect and pack bottles, ensuring cleanliness, correct coding, and weight specs.
• Verify shipping boxes contain correct quantity and ensure labeling matches containers.
• Ensure boxes are aligned and processed through the taping machine.
• Participate in task rotation with other line operators at set intervals.
• Check tube alignment and inspect for leaks.
• Maintain cleanliness around the line by cleaning spills, sweeping, and disposing of trash.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and GMPs.
• Perform additional tasks or rework as instructed by team leads or management.

Your Role:

Responsible for the packaging of high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, in accordance with company standards and production goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform all tasks in a fashion that assures personal safety and the safety of others.
• Confirm that all components on the production line (pumps, stems, caps, and lids) are accurate and appropriate for the product being manufactured, and ensure they are properly assembled.
• Place bottles onto the production line, performing visual inspections to check for defects such as poor printing, holes, and incorrect labeling.
• Inspect and pack bottles coming off the line, ensuring each container is clean, correctly coded, and meets weight specifications.
• Confirm that shipping boxes (shippers) contain the correct quantity of containers and that labeling and printing match between boxes and containers.
• Ensure shipper boxes are properly aligned and processed through the taping machine.
• Participate in task rotation with other line operators at designated time intervals.
• Check tube alignment and inspect for leaks.
• Maintain cleanliness around the production line by cleaning up spills, sweeping the area, and properly disposing of trash.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform additional tasks or rework assignments as instructed by team leads or management.

Schedule: Flex Shift

Work Days: Monday – Thursday

Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM

COMPENSATION:

The hourly pay for this role is $17.50 per hour, with an extra $0.50 per hour shift differential for working flex shift hours.
