Job Summary

- Line Operators are responsible for the safe movement and packaging of all customer products.
- Check and complete all required paperwork and maintain 100% uptime on production with maintenance support.
- Safely operate the FFS line, including the head unit, palletizer, and hooder.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, perform daily equipment inspections, and keep work areas clean and operational.
- Assist with railcar placement as needed and verify all paperwork, including printer entries.
- Perform basic field maintenance to ensure machine uptime.
- Feed machines properly with product, bag film, pallets, slip-sheets, and hood film. Report any issues promptly.
- Immediately acknowledge and accept responsibility for damages or issues with products or equipment.
- Follow directions from supervisors and rail coordinators.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma; some college preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with inventory systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
Physical Abilities:
- Physically capable of walking, climbing, and bending.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Position Responsibilities

- Report incidents and injuries promptly and support emergency response efforts.
- Maintain good housekeeping and participate in developing safety procedures and training.
- Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to talk, hear, sit, use hands, and manipulate objects. Occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, or crouch. Vision should include close vision. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
