DAP is seeking a Machine Operator for our Baltimore Plant to support packaging and filling lines, monitor production, and ensure quality checks are performed. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and strict PPE usage.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, good communication, and the ability to follow safety rules. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION DAP has an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators at our Baltimore Plant!

This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by ensuring the various packaging and filling equipment runs smoothly and minimizes downtime.

Below is the available shift schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM) Overtime is available/required. Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!

Responsibilities:

• Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line.
• Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate.
• Utilize RF scanner and SAP system.
• Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
• Completes all paperwork accurately.
• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area.
• Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules.
• Works in other areas as required by business needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
• Ability to climb steps/ladders
• Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Pay Rate: $20.09/hr
