Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. seeks a dedicated CNC Operator to support our manufacturing and operations team in Georgia. You will follow detailed operator instructions, use gauges to verify dimensions, and ensure products meet quality standards.

The role requires reading and following work orders, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork will help meet takt times and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial settings preferred; electronic/mechanical equipment assembly or high-speed operation.
• No experience required if there is an ascending trend in roles.
• Ability to read and write to follow work orders and prepare simple production reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines per operator instruction sheets and verbal instructions.
• Check product dimensions with gauges and indicators as described in procedures.
• Determine good or NG product.
• Assist in tool changes and simple part/fixture changes.
• Visually and manually inspect for defects in product or workmanship.
• Input data daily to maintain charts/reports for manufacturing, engineering, quality, material control, and sales.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area per 5S policy.
• Comply with work instructions to ensure products meet TS16949 and ISO14000 and customer quality standards.
• Be aware of hazardous conditions in machining environments.
• Adhere to Astemo safety policy.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement programs.
