Job summary

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a motivated Plating Line Operator to join our team. You will set up, operate, and tend plating tanks, performing chemical additions to maintain solution concentrations and ensure consistent quality.

You will rack/unrack parts, observe gauges, and keep the work area safe and organized. You will work with leadership for career growth, and play a key role in safety and quality across multiple customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and computer skills; able to operate testing tools and machinery.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and tend plating tanks according to procedures.
• Perform regular chemical additions to maintain plating solution concentrations.
• Immerse parts in plating tanks for specified times per customer specs.
• Adjust controls to regulate current and voltage for the plating process.
• Observe gauges and make adjustments or stop machines when needed.
• Rack and un-rack parts; conduct housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Support safety compliance and proper PPE usage at all times.
