Job summary

Campbell's is hiring a Line Technician in Charlotte, NC to support the production line, perform setup/changeovers and monitor packaging operations. The role requires basic mechanical ability, strong attention to detail, and good computer skills, with emphasis on following GMP, PPE, and safety policies.

Responsibilities include leading line activities, providing run sheets, tracking production data, maintaining inventory, and performing basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lockout/Tag out Certification may be required.
• Pre employment testing including mechanical assessment and tool recognition will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in line setup and changeover of product, identify critical controls and issues.
• Provide production run sheets to packaging operators to complete daily production run.
• Update production system and case totals to communicate production goals to the next shift.
• Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies as needed.
• Set up and operate multiple machines in the packaging area.
• Assist in keeping the production line running and free of jams.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Assist with packaging machine troubleshooting related to codes, dates and prices.
• Submit or assist with maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Monitor weights and product appearance as required.
• Ensure GMP, PPE, safety and quality policy compliance.
• Assist with communications to Quality Assurance on holds and changes.
• Assist supervisor with daily line KPI paperwork and data interpretation.
• Read and understand machine data and logs.
• May train new employees/operators on the line.
• If applicable, perform checks on metal detectors.
