Job summary

Amcor LLC in Matthews, NC seeks an on-site production operator to keep the packaging line running smoothly and safely. You will work with Helpers, Lead Operators and Shift Supervisors, as well as Quality Technicians, to ensure production meets customer expectations.

You will perform line adjustments, operate tools, follow safety procedures, complete paperwork, and troubleshoot equipment while adhering to company policies and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work orders or instructions.
• Ability to navigate computer programs and enter data accurately.
• Mathematical skills including rate, ratio and percent calculations.
• Reasoning skills to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality and attendance policies.
• Maintain operation of designated production line and keep it running smoothly.
• Make adjustments to the machine as required for orders or to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform operator paperwork and input key information into the computer system.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure on-time production.
