Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year distribution electrical power line work experience or equivalent.
• Must have the ability to acquire necessary qualifications to perform higher classifications.
• Valid Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, remove and inspect overhead and underground facilities.
• Operate and test electrical equipment up to 600 volts under supervision.
• Build and erect equipment mountings and transformer installations.
• Perform switching and tagging procedures for energized circuits.
• Direct the work of assigned helpers and complete monthly apprentice cards.
