Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and ensure safe operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting, be able to read P&IDs and electrical schematics, and be available for the 3rd shift and weekends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience involving industrial or manufacturing machinery, or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
  • Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
  • Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
  • Work closely with production personnel and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
  • Accurately document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and follow-up needs electronically with maintenance and production team members.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areas.
  • Follow all GMP requirements, safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
