Summary

Supervises and oversees that all maintenance performed on company aircraft is performed correctly per applicable standards and regulations. Ensures the facility is maintained in compliance with company and OSHA regulations. Assists the Manager of Base in managing maintenance operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Combination of education and experience considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as per the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a criminal background check.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certification: Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of Airframe and Powerplant on similar aircraft; minimum six (6) years of management or supervisory experience.

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Flexibility to travel 20% of the time.
• Required tools.
• Ability to work in a team and individually, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents.

Job Duties

• Supervise mechanics and oversee maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Plan and prioritize work to optimize efficiency and timely aircraft delivery.
• Support base operations, ensure safety and proper use of equipment, and coordinate with materials and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records, oversee shift reports, and conduct meetings.
• Manage staff performance, training, and development, fostering company values and customer service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, kneel, climb, and operate tools. May lift up to 50 lbs. Must wear protective gear and work in various environmental conditions. Some travel may be required.
