Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce in Maryland is seeking a Line Lead to support the Team Lead by providing hands-on leadership and operational support on the packing lines. You will help ensure that lines run efficiently, safely, and are maintained clean and organized.

You will identify issues, suggest performance improvements, and assist in training new associates while upholding quality and safety standards on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework or leadership training.
• 1–2 years of experience in a production or packing environment.
• Experience in a leadership or team support role in a food production setting.
• Basic food safety or OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Lead in managing daily activities on assigned lines.
• Ensure line is clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Provide guidance and direction to packing associates during shifts.
• Monitor line performance and suggest improvements.
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the Team Lead.
• Assist in training and onboarding new associates.
• Ensure packing procedures are followed for quality and efficiency.
• Support shift changeovers and completion of daily tasks.
