Job summary

The Class Produce Group in United States (Maryland) seeks a Line Leader to oversee the production line in a fast-paced warehouse. You will supervise 10-15 workers, ensure quality, and steer workflow to maximize efficiency.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and be able to operate pallets and forklifts, plus use handheld scanners for inventory control. Overtime and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must read and write English.
• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
• Electric Pallet Jack experience and/or Produce experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production line of 10-15 people.
• Inspect product to determine whether it meets acceptable standards of quality.
• Motivate production employees and direct work flow to maximize efficiency.
• Scan product out of and into inventory using hand held scanner.
• Operate bagging machine and overwrap machine.
• Keep track of supplies used.
• Direct crew to keep area clean and organized.
• Operate equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks as needed, in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
