Job summary

Lydech Thermal Acoustic Solutions (TAS) is seeking a line scheduler to coordinate sequencing based on Kanban and schedules, assign operators, and ensure production plans run smoothly. The role emphasizes safety, 6S, quality standards, and vigilant reporting of unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities include reviewing Kanban, tracking line performance hour by hour, coordinating material availability, and promoting teamwork to meet part-specific standard work requirements and schedules.

• Determine product needed by reviewing Kanban or schedule.
• Monitor and communicate hour by hour line performance to ensure effective schedule execution.
• Ensure safety, 6S, and quality standards are met for line.
• Monitor and coordinate material availability to ensure effective schedule management.
• Coordinate machine operator and line operator assignments to meet part specific standard work requirements and ensure production schedules are met.
• Immediately report any unsafe act or condition.
• Promote teamwork through effective motivation and respect

Job description

Responsible for line scheduling and changeover coordination. Adjusts line sequencing based on visual controls from schedule/Kanban. Determine operators’ assignments based on sequencing and part specific needs to ensure maximum efficiency. Complete part production labeling, data input and reporting requirements.
