Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Line Haul Driver who will operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances to deliver freight with precision. The role supports a 5-day workweek and home most nights, offering a strong work-life balance and competitive pay.

OD provides a Tuition Reimbursement Program for recent trucking school graduates. Expect to work from customer centers to facilities, perform safe driving under DOT rules, complete pre-trip checks, update delivery

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must have 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience or be a graduate of a state certified truck driving school.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• Must meet DOT medical standards and pass drug/alcohol tests.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances per DOT regulations.
• Meet medical standards and pass DOT drug and alcohol tests.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load security.
• Record deliveries via tablets/phones and navigate to destinations.
• Interact with customers and unload freight at delivery points.
• Available for extended away-from-home trips and various shifts.
