You will operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, delivering customers' freight with precision and reliability. Our drivers typically work a 5-day week and are home most nights, with an average annual pay of $107,000 and a Tuition Reimbursement Program for recent trucking school graduates.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or graduate of state-certified trucking school or completed the Old Dominion truck driver training program (ODTDT).
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazardous material endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations over long distances per DOT regulations.
• Meet DOT medical standards and pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles before starting trips.
• Ensure loads are secure and stable during transit.
• Record deliveries via tablets/phones and navigate to destinations.
• Be available for around-the-clock shifts and away from home for extended periods.
