Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Line Haul Driver to join our OD Family Culture. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, delivering freight with precision and reliability.

Our drivers typically work a 5-day workweek and are home most nights, offering strong work-life balance. An average annual pay of $107,000 is provided along with a Tuition Reimbursement Program for recent trucking school graduates.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Meet medical standards and pass drug/alcohol tests.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and secure loads.
• Record deliveries using tablets/phones and navigate.
• Unload freight at delivery points.
• Be available for around-the-clock shifts and time away from home.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
