Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English.
• 12 months tractor-trailer experience or truck driving school graduation acceptable to Old Dominion.
• Ability to read maps, road signs, and maintain logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load stability.
• Record deliveries via tablets/phones and navigate to destinations.
• Unload freight at drop-off with hand truck; assist with loading/unloading.
• Be available for around-the-clock shifts and extended time away from home.
