Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a safety-focused Line Driver to transport product between service centers and designated locations, ensuring safe, timely deliveries.

This full-time, year-round role offers growth into leadership. Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer or box truck, loading/unloading, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining load integrity, and complying with DOT/FMCSA regulations. Consistent schedule, with potential nights.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean MVR
• Must be 21 years or older
• At least 2 years of driving box trucks experience
• Familiarity with DOT Hours of Service regulations
• Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to read and follow directions in English
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to complete routes and documentation
• Pre-employment drug screen, background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations and/or box truck to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations
• Load and unload freight using approved handling equipment
• Secure cargo and maintain load integrity
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding routes, delays, hazards, and incidents
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations
• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA and state regulations
• Follow safety policies and reporting procedures
• Work nights as needed
• Complete required paperwork and eLogging documentation
• Support additional transportation duties as needed
