Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking a Line Driver to transport product between service centers and designated locations, ensuring safe, timely deliveries.

This full-time, year-round role requires adherence to DOT regulations, use of ELDs, and safe operation of 53’ trailers and box trucks, with potential growth into leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean MVR dated within 30 days of application.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years driving box trucks experience.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations.
• Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
• Forklift certified or ability to become certified.
• Ability to read and follow directions in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer and/or box truck to transport trailers between centers.
• Load and unload freight using approved equipment.
• Secure cargo and maintain load integrity.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate route updates with dispatch.
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations.
• Follow safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic logs.
• Support additional transportation duties as needed.

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a safety-focused, dependable Line Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting product between service centers and designated locations while ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations and/or box truck to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations

• Load and unload freight efficiently using approved freight handling equipment
• Secure cargo and maintain load integrity
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays, hazards, and incidents
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations as needed
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation regulations
• Follow Company safety policies and vehicle accident reporting procedures
• Operate safely and report to work well-rested and prepared
• Complete required paperwork and electronic logging documentation
• Support additional transportation duties as needed

Able to Drive a Tractor and 53’ Trailer ft. and 26 foot box truck and over 21 as well as work over nights.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely complete assigned routes and required documentation
