Qualifications

• This role requires a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable Class 8 tractor driving experience.
• Must maintain a clean MVR and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations.
• Load and unload freight using approved handling equipment.
• Secure cargo and maintain load integrity.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and incidents.
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations as needed.
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations; follow safety policies.
• Maintain required paperwork and electronic logs; wear CDL and medical certification.
• Work across nights and weekends as needed.
