Job summary

The Grove Community Church seeks a Line Cook to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality café items in a fast-paced kitchen, behind the scenes, ensuring consistent and excellent dining experiences for our church family and guests.

You will support the Kitchen Manager and Hub staff, maintain strict food safety and cleanliness standards, assist with stocking, and help with periodic deep cleaning of the kitchen and Hub areas. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Adhere to high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and contribute to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for café open hours.
• Assist Kitchen Manager and Prep Cooks.
• Maintain sanitary practices and comply with health regulations.
• Stock supplies from back of house to front of house weekly.
• Deep clean kitchen, walk-in, freezer and Hub areas weekly.
• Receive orders when needed.
