Job summary

Main Event in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Line Cook to prepare menu items with attention to quality, safety, and speed. You will work closely with the service team to ensure accurate, timely dishes and maintain a clean, organized station throughout shifts.

The position requires 6 months line cook/prep cook experience, a guest-focused mindset, and teamwork. Weekend availability is needed; 18+ with Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is essential.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Operating kitchen equipment safely.
• Working in partnership with the Service Team to ensure food is accurate and delivered timely.
• Adhering to health department food safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before and after each shift.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties.
