Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a full-time cook for the Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific in North County San Diego. The candidate will be able to work across stations, taking direction from supervisors to deliver consistent, timely dishes that delight guests.

Qualifications include 1+ years of line experience, basic cooking skills, and a culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred. Excellent sanitation and temperature control knowledge are required.

• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work single station in the kitchen.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Knowledge of temperature and sanitation guidelines.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of team at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific is North County San Diego’s first rooftop dining experience. The menu focuses on Baja-inspired dishes and delicious bites to share, plus a full array of craft cocktails with original recipes from our accomplished team of mixologists .

We are looking for a full time Cook. This person will be a level 1, 2, 3 or 4. This Cook will be able to take direction from their Supervisors to produce a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner.

The hourly range for this position is $21.00/hour - $24.00/hour. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
