Job summary

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is seeking a dedicated Line Cook 2 to join the morning crew and help deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will work a single station, prepare buffet-style meals, and rely on a solid foundation in basic cooking techniques, with flexibility for shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Experience in hotel kitchens and a culinary degree are valued, along with ServSafe or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Join the morning kitchen crew to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Prepare meals at a single station and assist with buffet service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and follow food safety guidelines.

An intermediate line cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require limited supervision and training.

• At least 3 months of previous line cook experience preferred
• Culinary degree or hotel kitchen experience is a plus

• Ability to work a single station and prepare buffet-style meals
• Genuine desire to serve others and contribute to a collaborative kitchen
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred
• Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (flexibility appreciated!)
• Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
