Alila Ventana Big Sur is seeking an Advanced Line Cook to elevate our fine dining kitchen with precise, high-quality cooking. You will execute complex recipes, maintain top standards of food safety, and support leadership during busy service periods.

The role requires at least 2+ years on sauté/grill stations in luxury settings, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and stamina for long shifts. Culinary degree is preferred, with strong communication essential.

We are seeking an Advanced Line Cook to bring expertise and precision to our culinary brigade. This role is ideal for a seasoned cook ready to contribute at a high level in a fine dining kitchen, delivering exquisite dishes inspired by Big Sur’s rich bounty.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex recipes and manage high-volume production stations

• Note: All culinary team members may be assigned to support any of our resort’s food & beverage outlets based on business needs, including the main restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner service), in-room dining, poolside service, and banquet events.

Schedule – The shift time is 2pm to 10pm am . We require schedule flexibility, including the willingness to work mornings and/or evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly pay for this position is $25 to $30/hour depending on experience. This is the pay range for this position at Alila Ventana Big Sur reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay rates will be based on a number of factors including experience and education.
