Watermark Retirement Communities in Pennsylvania is seeking a Kitchen/Line Cook to support our dining program at a welcoming senior living community. You will prepare meals, uphold quality standards, and work closely with a team dedicated to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Familiar with industry’s best practice.

Responsibilities

• 7:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule.
• Set up and stock stations with supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items with the kitchen staff.
• Follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and manage leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
