Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook for our Senior Living environment. You will accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events, while maintaining sanitation per regulations.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, serving residents, and using classical cooking techniques. The role requires attention to safety, quality, and timely production in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• State sanitation certificate.
• 3–4 years of related and advanced food service cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods that may require short to mid-level preparation time.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and may operate a grill station.
• Prepares food following federal, state and corporate standards for high-quality service.
• Reads orders or verbal instructions and prepares and cooks food accordingly.
