Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare a variety of hot and cold items for residents in a senior living/healthcare setting. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure high-quality food service in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, a food handler permit, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and food-handler permit.
• Experience with food preparation and kitchen safety.
• Servsafe training is beneficial; state sanitation certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
• Reads orders and prepares meals per recipes and instructions.
• Maintains sanitation standards and proper food safety practices.
• Assists with inventory, portioning, and documentation of production for quality control.
